Pay Scale for Enterprise Architects

Many Enterprise Architects are at the same level as a IT Manager or Director. EAs are seldom considered technical staff. They are paid in line with IT Management.

Chief Architects are generally considered executive management. Some Chief Architects are CxO level — but most are at the managing director or director level.

Pay varies greatly by location, industry and organization.
